Do you know that an earthquake is caused by?Well first there is a forshock then a mainshock and then aftershock. scienctis say they know there is an earthquakes when the the mainshock is stronger than the foreshock.An earthquake is caused by two plates slip past each other.This is what happened in the Alaskan earthquake. My teacher said that the aftershock could be felt in cuba.
